Belacaro's Pima cotton collection brings together knitwear made from an 85% Pima cotton / 15% baby alpaca blend, designed for spring, summer and mild-weather wear. Light, breathable and comfortable against the skin, these pieces combine the best qualities of two natural fibers, with no synthetic content and not a single molecule of plastic.

The fiber

Pima cotton is valued for its long, fine fibers, which produce a particularly smooth, soft and durable yarn. It brings lightness, breathability and a cool hand feel that makes these pieces easy to wear directly against the skin. Baby alpaca completes the blend with natural drape, subtle thermoregulation and a refined softness that distinguishes this knitwear from standard cotton pieces. Together, the two fibers produce a fabric that feels fresh in warm weather and comfortable when temperatures begin to shift. Our yarn supplier is responsibly accredited, with certifications including Oeko-Tex and Peru Fair Trade.

The craft

Every piece is fully fashioned and assembled by hand in our Québec workshop, made to order and never produced in series. The collection includes jacquard knits, structural relief patterns and plain constructions, each technique chosen to bring out the natural qualities of the blend.
