Fit and construction

These leg warmers sit above the knee and feature a stirrup foot that passes under the sole, keeping them in place throughout the day, wether at home or on the go. The construction draws on the same principle as dance and equestrian stirrup pants: a clean, secure hold without bulk. Fully fashioned and assembled by hand in our Québec workshop.

Knit

Made from 100% superfine baby alpaca from the Andes. Lighter than wool, naturally free of lanolin and exceptionally soft against the skin, alpaca provides genuine warmth without irritation or unnecessary weight. The English rib knit adds structure, elasticity and a comfortable compression that moves with the leg.

Our yarn supplier is responsibly accredited, with certifications including Oeko-Tex, Peru Fair Trade and the RAS well-being standard, with full farm-to-yarn traceability. Available in the same palette as the full Belacaro collection.

Wear and use

Worn over tights, under boots or as a layering piece with a skirt or dress, these leg warmers add warmth and a considered dimension to the silhouette. Made to order and designed to last, with lifetime repairs offered for every piece.
