Belacaro’s bicolor and reversible alpaca knitwear brings together soft, warm and durable pieces made in Québec, Canada. The collection includes reversible sweaters, cardigans, vests and beanies designed to offer everyday comfort with added versatility and color contrast.

The fiber

Belacaro works with superfine baby alpaca from the Andes. On some styles, the fiber is blended with fine merino and recycled polyamide to enhance durability and shape retention over time. Alpaca is valued for its remarkable natural properties: warmth, breathability and thermoregulation, along with a softness that feels comfortable against the skin. We work with a responsibly accredited yarn supplier, with certifications including Oeko-Tex and Peru Fair Trade.

Made to order in Québec

Each piece is made to order in our workshop in Québec, Canada. Every model is carefully developed by Belacaro and never produced in series, which gives each garment a more individual character and a closer attention to construction, finish and durability. Designed to become tomorrow’s vintage, Belacaro knitwear is made to be worn often, kept longer and repaired over time, with lifetime repairs offered for every piece.
